This place is a hidden gem. Away from it all with great views and an awesome staff to boot! We are already looking forward to our next visit. Certainly does not disappoint to the outdoors enthusiast, or just a restful weekend away!

The photos can't do it justice. The rooms feel fresh and cozy at the same time. In addition to the main bedroom, each room in the lodge has a loft, so there's a little get-away space. The grounds provide some good hiking, with lots of changes in elevation. Social distancing was easy to observe in in the dining room. The food was great - think "favorite restaurant meets favorite home cook." Very accommodating to dietary needs. And the staff could not have been more helpful - lots of great advice for local activities. And when you just want to kick back, the views can't be beat. Will definitely visit again.

An awesome and affordable nature experience. There is something for all ages but there is a lot to do if you have nature-loving kids. We liked that it was secluded but in close proximity to all the National Parks we wanted to visit. We had a great time.

Our company did a team building event here & it was AMAZING. High ropes & low ropes were perfect team exercises. I am recommend this to ALL companies that want to build team morale, communication, & support for one another! Highly recommend.

Where to start! Everything at Earthshine was beyond any of my expectations. The hospitality, location, amenities, views. You literally get everything with this booking. The little touches meant so much. You're close enough to a small downtown for eats and shopping (don't miss Oscar Blues Brewery for the burgers). Also, highly recommend hiking with the Llamas. Mark (Llama Caddy) is a wealth of local lore and all things Llama. My teen son fell in love and I'm sure won't soon forget that experience! All and all this listing is nothing short of MAGIC!

I have nothing but EXCELLENT reviews for Earthshine Lodge. We just had our college reunion there. The beds and pillows are new. The lodge is decorated with rustic, but very comfortable, decor. This is a facility that will help build great memories regardless of what type of event you have! A perfect 10!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Earthshine! Beautiful location, very close to town and all of the amazing outdoor adventures that Pisgah and DuPont have to offer. Anything we needed was provided instantly. Highly suggest doing the wilderness skills training with Mo! It was one of the highlights of our trip (with our 10 and 12 year old). 10/10 would recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful rustic lodge with breath taking views which reminded me of a much smaller version of the Old Faithful Inn. Rooms and the showers are very clean, with large common areas for sitting, resting, and enjoying the views. The hosts are warm and great with communications. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We came for the Appalachian Christmas and had a wonderful time. The property is gorgeous, the food provided was delicious (even for our family with lots of dietary restrictions), and the staff and activities were lots of fun. I highly recommend.

“This experience was unbelievably magical! The llamas are beautiful and majestic and extremely gentle. Mark was so knowledgeable and passionate about llamas, you can tell he loves and cares about each of the llamas. The hike is also incredibly beautiful, with wonderful views of the mountains, and you get an opportunity to run with the llamas. Mark also showed us a special surprise - 3 newborn llama babies. We had high expectations going in, and it still wildly exceeded them. If you’re in this area, don’t hesitate, just book it!”
